A project using Wordpress and Elementor

Bottom line . . Elementor deal gives 3 licences, so I used Elemetor to create this website. But I am not happy. It looks great, I like may of the features but I find I do not update and write about my projects and thoughts, weird. Perhaps when there are 3 or more Wordpress installs to manage it becomes a chore and we lose focus on the main job of communicating what we do!

As a portfolio site it advertises what I can do, but it can be difficult to get it in front of the people who would be interested to buy my services. I think it is difficult to optimise Wordpress to be great at SEO, plugins or specialist companies seem to be the normal way to help with this, but it costs tp get results. This is fine if you are selling and you have money, but to start, how do you balance the spend? It is easier to add meta data and keywords to a simple site to begin with.

With an image heavy site, and the images have to be great because that is what I am selling, Wordpress can be slow to load, add a plugin to help. . always a plugin. These will also slow down the site, so then add better and faster hosting, more money. . Start small, lean and fast, get attention then look at premium hosting and buying SEO services.
